1 Corinthians 13:5 … it is not self-seeking, …
Other versions of the say, love is not selfish. You see a person of love by how they share that which they have. It might not be even money, but how they share good news or even the knowledge they have, even their time.
This how the bible or God needs us to live on earth. Honey, love is giving – just imagine if God didn’t give Christ Jesus to come and die for us?
We already learned two days ago that, what do we have that has not been given to us by someone or God Himself? Jesus also said, freely have you receive so freely also give (Scripture reference – Matthew 10:8). Your parents love you, that is why they feed you, pay your fees, give you accommodation, clothing, and many things.
Please, I am not saying, when someone talks about love, it should just give and take and give and take, that is business and not the bible.
If you truly love even your family, the people in your class, you will even find a way to get one this devotional to them because of how it’s blessing your life. You can never say you have nothing to give God or mankind in your life.
To God, you can give Him your praise and worship. To man, you can give your time, a helping hand or even the word of God.
Sometimes, your giving will not come on a silver platter or easy, still give, because you have no excuse.
Confession
I am a life-giving spirit because I am born again and born of God. I give to people and places, at every time because that is my nature, in the Name of Jesus, hallelujah!
