Genesis 40:8 | New King James Version | And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”
Having a dream, knowing its interpretation, working towards it, from the thick and thin, for its materialisation is whole work and it can only happen when we corporate with the Lord through prayer and His Word.
For a dream from God to come to pass, it will take prayer, it is prayer that will draw the agenda and plan of God into this physical world. Prayer is what connects earthly men to the things of God.
Prayer over here, is simply being in sync with the Lord or knowing the mind of God about the dream He gave you. We see in part so we prophesy in part. God will not show the whole picture at one time, but will be waiting for your corporation and interest to show or reveal more to you, and one of the many ways to show or express your interest in the dream God has given you, is through prayer, when prayer is done, He reveals and shows us more.
All the people whose dreams worked for them in Scripture were prayer people, they had a relationship with the Lord, those who did have that relationship with the Lord; they made sure at a point they invited people with a relationship with God through prayer, into the said dream.
