1 Timothy 4:12 || New King James Version || Let no one [a]despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, [b]in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Child of God! Age is just a number, but what is important in this Kingdom of the Dear Son of God, in the Person of Christ Jesus is responsibility with the help of the Holy Ghost. I define responsibility to be; “knowing what to do, the right time and the right way”.
You might be young, or a teenager, but as long as you know what you are about through the pages of the Scriptures and that God talks to your heart, never allow anyone to despise the days of your youth for whatever reason.
This does not mean that we should be confrontational to those who seem to despise us, no. But we just have to be strong willed, based on the Word of God and what the Lord says to our heart.
People see and interpret life situations based on their level of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Knowing very well that, we derive our knowledge, understanding and wisdom from the Word of God and what He says to our heart; what we just need to do is to be firm on what we know based on the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
There are several examples in the Bible where God used young people; just have a sincere heart towards the Lord and He will use you for His glory and majesty.
Prayer
Thank You, Lord Jesus for Your Word that has come to me, this day, amen.
