Isaiah 55:6 || New King James Version || Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Beloved Teenager! There is time to everything in life, the same way there is time in seeking the Lord as well. The “while” in our opening scripture signifies time; thus, if there is a time to seek the Lord that He would be found, it also means that, there also might come a time that we would seek the Lord and not find Him.
Amos 8:11 New King James Version || “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord.
God is His Word, absent of the Word of God is absent of the Lord, the same way the presence of the Word of God is the presence of God Himself. Thus, if Amos 8:11 is talking about the scarcity of the Word of God, it means a time is coming that when we seek the Lord, we might not find Him.
Dear teenager, let us make hay while the sun is up. The best time to seek the Lord through His Word is now that we are young and have the energy.
We need to have time for the Lord God now, the same way we have time for sleep, eating, studies or work, family or friends; the same way we need to be intentional to have time for God through His Word, in the Name of Jesus and the Holy Ghost will help us. The Lord help us, all, amen!
