Philippians 3:7 || New King James Version || But what things were gained to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.
We saw yesterday, that all we are and have should be to the glory of the Lord. But for that to happen, we need to also count all loss just for Christ Jesus, our all in all.
Matthew 16:25 || New King James Version || For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
We need to count all things lost for Him, this means that the meaning of our life and existence should be His glory and will. It also means that, we have no life without Him.
We need to come to a realisation that we are for Christ, spirit, soul and body; everything we have should be subject to His Lordship. This means, we will do only the things that pleases Him. How do we know what pleases him?
All we need to please the Lord is the Word of God, let us get it, study it, meditate on it and be the doers of it and we will be on the plate of pleasing the Lord, by doing so, we have counted all things loss but to gain Him.
Confession
My life is for Christ Jesus, in Him I live, move and have my being. I was created, born and exist for the glory of the Lord, glory and honour be to His Name, Amen.
