Psalm 119:82 || New King James Version || My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, “When will You comfort me?”
God’s elect, the failing of the eyes, connotes not being able to look into the Word of God or study Him. There is a passion we need to have when and if we need to know the Word of God and that will never come on a silver platter but it would take determination and discipline with the help of the Holy Ghost for us to be able to get our eyes or heart fixated on the Word of the Lord God.
We should always be able to check the kind of passions we have over time, as soon as we realise that our passion or desire or heart begins to reduce for the things of the Lord, we should quickly and smartly know that the enemy has succeeded in planting something in our heart and the only thing that can take it out and replace with a Godly passion is the same Word of God, with the help of the Precious Holy Spirit.
Guard your heart with all diligence because out of it springs out the issues of life; the heart of a man is where either our God will reign or the devil reigns. We need to be able to keep our hearts fixated on Christ Jesus, so our eyes faint not or be weak at looking or studying the Word of God because that is the source or life giver for the believer.
Declaration
In the Precious Name of Jesus, my eyes will not be faint for the Word of God, I receive and have the strength for the Word of God, amen!
