Acts 9:16 New International Version – I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

Hebrews 11:24-26 King James Version – 24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Daniel 3:28 New International Version – Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

There is what is called “the Wilderness Experience” for every believer or child of God. This is the period where you would pass through what will weak your flesh or be unbearable, uncomfortable and unpleasant to your being or flesh; Jesus went through it, Abraham went through, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph…

It is the same in the New Testament church; this usually happens in our waiting time on the Lord, where our prove and patience for God is weighed and texted.

God’s elect, there will always be a time, you feel dejected, rejected and ignored, the ability to still profess your love for the Master is the prove that you are not just materialistic with God, but you have a genuine love for Him.

Prayer

In the Name of Jesus, I pray I have the fortitude and endurance to be able to suffer for Your sake, amen!
