Luke 18:1 New King James Version: – Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
Matthew 21:13 New King James Version: – And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
Prayer is the key to a fruitful and faithful life with God. All the men who had this fruitful and faithful walk with God were all in constant communication and dialogue with God; all that is a result of prayer.
Prayer is simply a communication between a man and God; but communication is a complete process, where; the message is conveyed, the receiver gives a feedback based on his or her understanding, then we say communication is complete.
The same way with God when it comes to prayer, we cry and call Him Abba Father, if He is truly our Father then there should be a relationship and that will only come as a result of prayer, being; praise or worship, literal prayer in understanding or tongues, meditating on the word of God, all are forms of prayer or communicating with the Lord, in turn He should speak back to us, either He comforts our soul, gives us peace, courage, or something materialistic, then we say we have had an effective prayer life.
God’s elect, prayer is the life and blood line of a believer because that is the only way we can receive from and have a relationship with Him – that is His will for His children, hallelujah!
