Abraham was asked to move from his father’s house into a land he would be shown by God (Genesis 12:1-4)
Abraham was asked to sack Ishmael and the mother from his house (Genesis 21:8-21)
Abraham was asked to circumcise himself and all of the men of his household (Genesis 17:10-12)
Abraham was asked to sacrifice his only son and heir (Genesis 22:1-19)
If God is God, and we are His workmanship, or servants just to serve Him in obedience to His will on earth, then that should be done with absolute and complete obedience to His will.
There is a realm of meeting God which is higher than prayer, praises and worship or anything that takes us closer to the Father, that is the realm of absolute obedience and surrender of our all to Him; in fact that is the only and true way to meet with the Father of glory.
That is the realm of agreement and total submission to the Lord of glory; this is also the only way that His glory or entire glory will come on a man. This is because everything about Him is just glorious so to partake of that glory which is His ultimate and utmost purpose for man, man just has to agree in total obedience, submission and surrender and that same glory on the Son Christ Jesus will come on man.
Prayer
In the Name of Jesus, I ask for the spirit and mantle for obedience, to obey everything you tell me, from Your word to Your Spirit and the people you send to me, amen!
