How Jesus Was Anointed
Acts 10:38 New International Version – how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
God anointed Christ Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power; so the anointer is the Holy Ghost; this is why we need to have a walk with so His anointing will robe in us for us be also to go about doing good.
Now to be with the Holy Ghost demands work which first culminated in obedience to Him, from the word of God or anything He impresses on your heart.
Study the life of the people in just the books of Acts and see the kind of life they lived; before the anointing falls on us; example is prayer and study of the word of God like studying to sit for an examination.
Acts 6:4 New International Version – …and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”
The anointing comes with and for a purpose; God will never give His anointing just giving sake, but for a purpose He sent it; thus before we ask God for His anointing, we have to find out what He wills us use it do.
