Psalm 4:4 New King James Version Be[a] angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
After having a clear conscience during the day’s activities, what we do before sleep is very key, knowing very well that we are going to have an encounter with the Lord in the watches of the night or through the night’s vision which is a dream.
The mind is always the gateway to the things of the spirit to us, either in the negative or positive, thus, what we feed it with is very important, especially when we are about to sleep, most importantly two hours before sleep.
We need to cultivate the habit where we will just not jump on the bed to sleep, but even if it’s ten minutes we take to lay on the bed to meditate before sleep. Where meditation in this sense means, thinking in your heart or talking to yourself before sleep carries you.
What to meditate on? You can meditate on the Word of God, you can have a cool worship or hymn in the background, not too loud. You can meditate on the goodness of God but most importantly, thank the Lord from the depths of your heart for the day; all of the above are means and items of meditation. You can be thinking about angels or the Holy Ghost, the Words of Christ Jesus.
When this is done, it has a way to set you up for encounters through your dream life.
Confession
In the precious Name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is my helper to help me meditate before sleep time, amen
