Saint of God! We are on the earth to work, nothing more and nothing less. You would read in Genesis 1 and 2; that God had to create everything but bring man into the picture or creation but to manage that which He had created, which is work.
Now, the work we need to do, should either benefit the creation of God or man. You would realise that every legal or good work on the earth is just two, either is helping God’s creation or man (generic); even though the imperfections of man keeps deteriorating man and the earth at large. This is why Romans 8:19 says “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.”
God’s elect, be poised for work for that is your purpose of coming on the earth. Now your work should be able to advance the kingdom of God, man or God’s creation at all times, but in a greater light, your work should bring Glory to God in all spheres of life.
Our minds should be made and fixed that we are on the earth for Work; the Lord in His own wisdom has some kind of work for us at every stage of our life, be it home, school, church or even the playground.
Prayer
In the Name of Jesus, with the help of the Holy Ghost, show me what I am on the earth to do, to fulfil Your purpose for my life, Lord Jesus, thank You.
