Proverbs 4:23 | New International Version | Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Everything flows from our heart that is why we need to guard or protect it with all seriousness, selfishness, jealousy, determination and diligence.
What influences our heart is what we hear and see or what we are exposed to per time, that is what registers in our mind and influences our thought life, word or speaking life and deeds at large.
This is why we need to be conscious, deliberate and intentional about the things we allow into our minds, through hearing and seeing.
God’s elect, we need to be subjective on what we hear and see, when and if we have the power. What you should be interested in hearing or seeing is God through His Word and His purpose (reason why you are on the earth) for your life.
We know in part so we prophesy in part, you might not be clear on your purpose in life per time, but if nothing at all, God Himself should be your purpose to know Him. At least you might be in a school or have a trade, training or apprenticeship you are pursuing; focus on that and be hearing and seeing along those lines, anything that is outside purpose should never be given a thought in your life, the Lord bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you, amen.
