Hebrews 10:24-25 || New King James Version || 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

If we say we are a family of God’s children or Christians, then we need to be attending family meetings, where we will discuss our Father and He will also tell us what He has in store for us for our future.

In Genesis 49:1, there was an old man Jacob, he gathered all his children when he was about to die so that he would tell them what will befall them after his death. That is the family meeting we are talking about. In the New Testament church (after the death of Jesus Christ), the believers meet on days just to worship and have fellowships among themselves.

Child of God, church attendance is now a command by our Father through the scriptures, it should be part of our lives depending in the region we find yourself, it may be Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays; what is important is not the day, but two or more believers will meet in the Name of the Lord, to worship and hear the Words of God.

Nothing should be able to take your day of worship during the entire week, we should discuss it with the people we live with and make time for church, like how we would make time for school, work and even the playground.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, we are grateful for your Words, we receive grace to be the doers, amen.
