Yes, our Father who is our God is all loving, and He will never forsake us even till the ends of the earth, but a time is coming that man will not be pampered again like it used to be, there will be a time of reckoning and there will also be a time we will need to give an account of whatever we came to do on the earth, even the idle words we spoke or speak.
There is a system, which might be interpreted as God rejecting men, but that is false, it is just that, when we fail to stay with the Word of God, we hide ourselves from the Lord, and the Lord God also being a Gentle God, He will never force Himself on a man, for whatsoever reason.
Any father will love, like and accept an obedient child, that child when and if the father speaks, he obeys it swiftly or quickly. For example, if the father has a company and he says, you need to study mechanical engineering to be able to take over the company at my old age, and you did not heed to the voice and at that old age, he gives the company to a stranger because he studied mechanical engineering; this might render you poor and your father might not be in the position to do anything about it, and some will tend to think and say you have being rejected by your father, but that was the system created.
