Psalm 119:111 || New King James Version || Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

God’s elect, God through His Holy and Only Word emphasis through and via repetition. Anytime a matter is mentioned more than once in the scripture, it means it is a serious matter or issue, thus, for the Word of God to be mentioned beyond count (that is the measure/level of my knowledge) is to tell us the premium or price God has placed on His Word. God has lifted His Word above His Name, Psalm 138:2

We need to think and see the Word of God to be our inheritance or heritage; this is the only way we would be that serious with the Word of God. The kind of mind-set we have for a thing is the determining factor to how serious we would or should hold such a thing.

A heritage or inheritance is something that one did not work for but has been passed on to him or her by his or her predecessor; such items should not be taken for granted because we have no idea how the people suffered to have left us that inheritance or heritage. Get some time and read the history on how the Bible was compiled and still relevant and still living even until this day.

Yes of a truth, Christ Jesus came to die for us, but the only medium by which we are going to know Him or God is through the Word of God, this is why the Word of God is our heritage.
