The human mind should always be occupied with the things of God and things that will enhance, propel or aid the vision or agenda of God for our lives. Either, the enemy will always come to engage us, or the mind will be used to enhance his agenda and not God’s.
God’s elect, God made the mind of man so man would be able to use it as a tool and a system to have fellowship with Him. And one of those ways is when we use our minds to meditate on the Word of the Lord all day. The mind of a person is very important when it comes to the things of God.
Meditation is just that moment of life where we fix our minds on the things of the Lord Christ Jesus or His Only and Holy Word. You think the Word, speak the Word and act the Word at every time in your life; that is what the writer of our opening verse did on his stay on the earth.
We should ask for grace and mercy to be able to live this lifestyle if and when we really need to have a relationship with Christ Jesus and His Precious Holy Spirit. We need to be intentional about following the Lord and one of the ways is meditation.
Declaration
In the Name of Jesus, my mind and heart is guarded, and is fixed on the Word of the Lord at all times. I think, talk and do the Word of God, the Word is working for me, amen!
