God’s elect, we are alive because we are gifted with the Gift of Life. Life is what keeps a thing, a person or any living thing going or moving. A person without life has absolutely nothing to offer.
In accordance to our opening verse, the source or our life or our livelihood emanates or comes or sources from the Word of the Lord. We need to come to a point in our lives to know and realise that the Word of God is our source of life in all we do, and that without the Word of God, we are doomed and dead persons.
The cars on our streets need fuel to move, the human body also needs oxygen, food and water to move, any electrical gadget, also needs electrical power to function, the same way we also need the Word of God to be alive because that is our only source of life.
Life for the believer is the very life of God in and the outside of that man, which is called Zoe; the God kind of life, which is embedded in the Word of God. There are many aspects of life in the life of the child of God; which are, health wise, mentally, intellectually, and even relationship wise, thus, the mind or heart of God concerning these areas of our life happens to be the life of God that should be in those areas of our life, which will only be found in the Word of God, the Lord help us, amen!
