Psalm 119:48 || King James Version || My hands also will lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Lifting up hands is a way of praising the Lord and also a sign of surrender in the Holy Bible. We need to come to a point in our Christian experience where the Word of God becomes the final say in our lives; that is we believe anything He says or ministers to our heart through the Precious Holy Ghost.
Surrendering to the Word of God will make the Word of God materialise in our life. To see the Word manifest or materialise in our lives, we need to first submit to His Lordship over our life. We need not to argue whenever the Word of God is being preached to us or get offended because the Word of God has become the Lord or Master of our lives.
There was an incident in the Bible where Christ Jesus Himself wanted to escape the Cross of Calvary but He quickly comes to Himself and says, not My will but thy (God) will. I have come to do the work of My Father; this is a proof that such a man has surrendered His all to the Word of God.
God’s elect, we cannot be half or part time Christians, we need to go all out for this Jesus we have been talking about, this is the only way we can see Him come into our lives.
Declaration
In the Mighty Name of Christ Jesus, I surrender all to the Lordship of the Word of God, the Holy Ghost being my helper, amen!
