Psalm 119:20 || New King James Version || My soul breaks with longing for Your judgments at all times.

Psalm 42 || 1 as the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

Longing, pants and thirst are synonymous in this context. There should be a way your soul or heart looks for the Lord God at all times; that is the kind of heart and soul king David had towards God.

The deer animal has a scent or an odour on it that travels long kilometres in the forest that calls the attention of its predator like the lion to always hunt it. Thus, the deer is always on the run in the forest; always looking for water to deep itself, for that is the only way the scent or odour on it that calls for its predator will calm down for a time.

Therefore, for King David to mention his thirst longing and panting after the deer; this means, God is the only saving and serving place for him at all times. God’s elect, this is the same way or even higher our hearts should go after God. God’s elect, it is very possible and we are capable. We need to pursue with all seriousness the judgments of the Word of God with the entirety of our minds, spirits, souls and body.

God’s elect, going for everything God pays everything to us; “Go for God”.

Declaration
