Psalm 119:16 New King James Version || I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
The Word of God has some instructions about “forgetfulness or being forgetful”; we need to forget the negative things and move on with life but keep minding the positive especially the Word of God and also move on in life.
From the above, it means that to forget or being forgetful is a decision and a choice. We are spiritual people because we have and know the Spirit of the Living God, and He is for our teaching and bringing to our remembrance what we have been taught of the Father by and through Christ Jesus – John 14:26
God’s elect, be intentional and conscious to do things to keep the Word of God in mind, because it is an instruction given us from the Word of God, on countless occasions. Have the Word of God with you at all times, so you can be referring to when and if the Word pops to your mind; it could be the hard copy Bible, a tablet or even on a phone.
When we have the Word of God and forget Him not; that is when the issues of life come at us, we will be able to have some kind of the Word of God to fight. Forgetting the Word of God is just like forgetting your weapon in the face of a fierce war.
Declaration
In the Precious Name of Jesus, I am not a forgetful hearer of the Word of God, I sustain the enablement to keep the Word of God on my mind, while sleeping, on the road, in the school, and everywhere I find myself, hallelujah!
