Psalm 119:2 || New King James Version || Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!
Testimonies are the extra ordinary acts of God in the life of the believer or the child of God. For example, you got sick, and you were healed by the power of the Holy Ghost in the Name of Jesus, you lost an item, you prayed a silent prayer in your heart, and the Holy Ghost then aids or helps or directs you to where that missing item is or was. You had a short memory or you could not understand a subject, maybe mathematics, and you or someone prays and your understanding in that subject or mathematics becomes alive. You were addicted to something or there is a sin that you could never do without, through prayer in the Name of Jesus, you get delivered. Now that wonder God the Father has done in your life, in the Precious Name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Ghost or Spirit is termed as “testimonies”.
Now, the scriptures are telling us to keep those testimonies, by doing so, we shall be blessed. God’s elect, the Word of God is for our believing and the proof that we have believed the Word we hear is when we become practitioners of that which we hear.
You keep the testimonies of the Lord by sharing it, also not forgetting it when new challenges come up, you tell yourself; that same God who took you out from that snare, shall deliver you again, again and again.
Declaration
In the Name of Jesus, I receive the testimonies of the Lord, by the power of the Holy Ghost, amen!
