Psalm 119:4 New King James Version || You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently.
Diligence should be a lifestyle in the life of God’s elect or the believer in all he or she does. We have to take everything that comes from the Lord with all seriousness of heart, or mind, and with the best of attitude.
Diligence is when you are so serious about a thing that nothing will ever shift you from it, you hold on to it tightly, no matter what, because you cherish that thing that you cannot afford to lose it for anything.
We ought to develop the above mindset and attitude for the Word of God; we should be able to come to a point in our Christian life or experience that we so hold dear the Word God that we shall and will fight anything that has the power to take the Word of God from our hearts or mouths.
To keep the Word of God diligently, we need to be in the right associations that will enable us keep the Word of God or be around people who also hold in high esteem the Word of the Lord just like you do; this will help you to cultivate the habit of reading and studying the Word of God for that has become your life and your diligence to the Word of God will surely bring the Lord Jesus to manifest in your life.
Keeping the Word of God with diligence is also when we are so jealous not to lose Him.
