Exodus 18:20 New King James Version || And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.
The main purpose of the word of God is to teach the believers or anyone who so desires to know the Lord. God is just His word, thus, to know or be taught about God, you just need to submit to His word, because you cannot know the Lord without His biography and autobiography.
The word of God is to teach the believer, the heart, thoughts or mind, deeds and plans of God. Our God is an infinite God, it means, there is no end with Him; Ephesians 3:8 talks about the unsearchable wisdom of God, it means that one cannot finish searching the wisdom of God.
God is the creator of the universe or heaven and earth, thus, to even know the earth very well with her riches and resources, we need to allow the word of God to teach us the manner this world or universe was formed. God’s elect, the Word of God talks about those who know their God will do exploits in Daniel 11:32 and to know your or our God can only be done when we are taught the word of the Lord.
It is the word of God that will teach you right from wrong, it is the word of God that will teach you how to love your enemies, it is the word of God that teaches the wisdom on how to dwell in this wicked world.
