John 1:1-4 New King James Version || In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
I hope you realise that our opening verse is talking about “the word of God” but still using the personal pronoun “he/him”. This means the word of God has been personified, which that person or personality is Christ Jesus. There is no way the word of God could or can be separated from Christ Jesus.
John 1:14 New King James Version || And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The beginning verse talks about the word being with God but verse 14 is talking about the word of God becoming flesh that is the word of God becoming a person and that person is Christ Jesus. This is why we need to know the word of God like or even more than any other book on the planet earth, because if we need to have a relationship with Christ Jesus, as our Lord and personal Saviour, then we need to know the word of God.
If God uses the word for creation, and Jesus is the word of God; this is one of the reasons why we pray in the Name of Jesus with the same word of God.
Declaration
In the Name of Jesus, I develop passion for the word of God and I study Him, amen!
