Ephesians 2:4 New King James Version || But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us
“Love” will always come before or precede “mercy”, mercy is that heart of love or tenderness towards a person that makes you help in any way when even the people involved are wrong. Just imagine the worst things we did to our parents and loved ones, but they still forgave us and still showed us mercy. This is common with parents, after misbehaving; your parents will still insist you eat and are fine.
The mercy of God in a person’s life simply means, the help of God in a person’s life if even that person seems wrong or not. The story of the prodigal son in our scripture study will tell us all about the mercy of God.
God’s elect, our Lord God is rich in mercy because of His great love which He loved us with, nothing can make Him turn His face of help from us on any day of trouble, unless of course we call not on His Name with a sincere and a true heart.
God’s elect, our Lord God is so rich in mercy, let us always endeavour to always run to Him irrespective of what happens, either our fault or not, the truth of the matter is, when it comes to sin; the primary act that seems to separate us from God; we turn away from the Lord, but no, that is when we even have to come to Him, because the strength to be able to overcome sin will only be given by Him, through Christ Jesus and with help of the Holy Ghost/Spirit.
Declaration
I swim in the mercies of God, amen!
