Romans 8:36 New King James Version – As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Psalm 86:3 New King James Version – Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long.
God’s elect, Christianity or the life of the Christian is not a church life, nor a home life, nor a school life, but it is a 24/7 ife even when we are asleep; this is why God is able to talk to us through dreams which are called the visions of the night.
Because of this, our God neither sleeps nor slumbers (Psalm 121:4), the same way the enemy too does not sleep or slumber but he is not and cannot be bigger, stronger and powerful than our God.
1 Peter 5:8 New King James Version – Be [a]sober, be [b]vigilant; [c]because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
This is the description the bible also gives about the devil, this means, us, as our God does not sleep nor slumber, and the devil too the same, then it means we have to take our Christian life seriously all day long. This means there is no resting time for us to hang the boot of our bible and our prayer life.
God’s elect, life is spiritual, let us always look at things from the perspective of the spiritual because this earth or the universe was framed by God who is and was in the Spirit – there is no holiday in Christianity; for we are all day long Christians.
