Psalm 107:2 New King James Version – Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
There is a way the redeemed of the Lord talks that stems out of his her mind, which will definitely influence how he/she acts. The redeemed of the Lord is simply the elect of the Lord or the child of God.
Ephesians 4:29 New King James Version – Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary [a]edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
The above scripture is the one of the many prescriptions of how the Lord’s redeem should talk, it should be able to minister grace, edification or motivation to the hearer because that is who we are in Christ Jesus.
We are in this world but never of this world, thus, the world should never be the determinant of our thinking patterns, words and even what we do because we are simply the redeemed of the Lord; we have a way we should speak or talk to the glory of God and that it should add to the people who hear us speak.
When a friend wrongs you, how do you respond? When you hear elders talk anyhow and do something you think is wrong, how do you respond? Christ Jesus talks about us accounting for every idle word that proceeds from our mouth – Matthew 12:36
God’s elect, I pray in the Name of Christ Jesus, that we receive a fresh passion for the word of God, to be able to search it and know exactly how, when and what to speak to bring glory and honour to our Lord God.
