2 Corinthians 3:17 New King James Version – Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
I would like us to find the difference between “the” and “a”; “the” is used when and if it is “only or one”, while “a” is used when there are varieties or options to choose from.
“Now the Lord is the”; God’s elect, the song writer says, “(Christ Jesus) You are my all in all”. We should be able to see the Lord as our all in all, this is when the Lord will be “the”. The Lord being “the” in our lives means, Him being our source of everything, our life, intelligence, love, affection, emotions, power, money, love, peace, friend and even parents, this is the relationship the Lord Christ Jesus needs from us. When this kind of relationship is established, then we see the Lord Himself step into the boat of our lives.
It is only when and if we see the Lord as “He is the…” before the Spirit of the Lord can take hold of our lives and use it for whatever pleases Him, and that is the only way we would also be fulfilled in life because we have become the Master’s used piece.
God’s elect, I believe our world in under one of the strongest spiritual attack in history because we just seem to be doing everything other than the word of God or the bible, so when we do not turn to the Lord wholeheartedly and see Him to be “the only”, it means satan wins the battle over us and we are going nowhere.
Declaration
Christ Jesus is my all in all, because He is the Lord, amen!
