Lamentations 3:22-23 New King James Version 22 through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
God’s elect, it is very key we take note of the tenses in the bible while studying it; whether it’s being in the past tense, present tense or the present continuous and even the future tense.
We are blessed to have our opening verse being read in the present continuous tense. The Lord’s mercy, compassion or love; they are new every morning and great is His faithfulness towards us even though we seem not to be faithful.
God’s elect, let us take the word of God as it is, this simply means that, every good thing the Lord has for His children is new, each and every day or morning, this is why, He has to be sought on daily basis so we can receive from His mercies, and loving kindness, grace and everything from Him each and every day. As we seek Him, we are anointed (empowered by Him) from His presence that day, we do not carry that anointing to the next day but rather, we come the next day to receive of a new anointing, well, you might say you are not doing that but you are living, that is the mercy of God at work anyway.
But why be good if you can be better? Why be better if you can be the best?
Good, better, best.
Never let it rest.
