1 Corinthians 1:29 New King James Version – that no flesh should glory in His presence.
There are two realms in the life of the believer or the child of God, this is either the realm of the flesh/carnality or the realm of the Spirit of the Living God; there is no middle lane.
Child of God, anything the flesh is inspired by the devil, anything apart from God is from the devil because whoever who is not with the Lord is clearly against Him – Matthew 12:30
Being in the Spirit is never anything superstitious for any reason, it simply means we living our lives in accordance to the word of the Lord, which is the bible because it was Holy men who were inspired to write the scriptures to our benefit which is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17 & 2 Peter 1:21).
The conclusion of the matter of not being in the flesh but in the Spirit is that our thought pattern, our words and our actions will be based on love from the Holy Scriptures. So therefore, anything out of the above prescriptions to the child of God is being in the flesh which is also only influenced by the devil.
Colossians 3:2 New King James Version – Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Thus, for us not to be in the flesh, we need to set our minds on things above, the only way that can be done is when we make the Bible and Prayer our friend.
