God’s elect, the Holy Spirit Has been on the earth with men from the beginning, then the Prophets emerged, who were still used by the Holy Ghost, their inscriptions became the Old Testament (Genesis to Malachi), what was written when Jesus stayed and walked the earth was called the Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. When Christ Jesus now ascends to heaven after His death and resurrection to be seen by all men of those days, the book of Acts to Revelation steps in, which is called the New Testament, Matthew to Revelation can also be termed as the New Testament too.
That is the Bible or the Holy scriptures because Holy men wrote as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. God’s elect, this is what is left for us; let us do anything therefore to know it, if only we need to take our Christian experience serious in knowing God. The Christ you know is the determinant of the Christian you will be, and that can be done through the scriptures.
