Matthew 6:10 King James Version – Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
We are alive in this life for a purpose, a purpose to meet the Master’s need. We operate by the principles in the kingdom of God which is clearly stated in His word, the Bible.
Psalm 115:16 New King James Version – The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.
The earth God has given to man, one of the ways we ask God to do things in the earth realm in through prayer; whiles talking about prayer in our opening text; this is how Christ Jesus Himself teaches us to prayer (that should not be entirely how the Christian should pray but the model; first, you acknowledge and thank the Lord, secondly He talks about the earth (people) and thirdly before it comes to us “the individual praying”).
Now, what is on the heart of the Lord is that His kingdom has come, His will should be done on earth as it is in heaven; that is the desire, motive and will of God for us on earth. We would only know His kingdom and birth it on the earth when we so stick to the word of God and prayer.

There was a mind-set Christ Jesus walked with when He was on earth, it was all about what the Father would have Him do and even say or think; As Christ Jesus is, so are we in this life – 1 John 4:17
