But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [a]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
To them He gave them the right to become the children or God, some Bible translations use power and authority.
This means, being a child of God, gives you a right, power and authority which is towards God and what He said we do with it.
Child of God, there is some right we have, some power and authority we have because we are children of God; we did not bargain or beg for it, but Christ Jesus gave it to us when He died on the cross of Calvary.
This authority, power and right is so huge that we can not finish it even in an hundred years of living; this is why I always admonish us to go to God through His word and prayer by ourselves so we know the exact right, power or authority He gave to us as children of God, so we do not live below it, nor above it also but by it.
Child of God, dig through the word of God by yourself and prayer, and I bet you, as you begin to know the right, power and authority we have as children of God, you will be above only, never beneath, power will flow through you, you will go beyond your peers, you become a sign and a wonder, you will begin to talk wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, you will begin to think, talk and act like when Jesus walked the earth, you will be bold, courageous and precise in all what you do, because you have some kind of power, right and authority because you are a child of God, amen!
