2 As babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
There is a growth process in the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 4:13 New International Version
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
The above scripture talks about growth, which will only come by the study of the word of God, which is said to be the sincere milk of the word of the Lord.
But what will compel us to study the word is our desire to the Lord through the scriptures; that is when the Holy Ghost will empower us to study and to know the scriptures, by so doing; we know the Lord.
The amount of the word of God you know is the very determinant of the God you know. God’s elect, the proof of your studentship is not the school you attend but how studios you are. The word “student” has its origin from “study”.
God’s elect, if you really need to grow and know God in this our kingdom, you have not option than to desire and be studious with the word of God.
Declaration
In the Name Jesus, I crave and desire the word of God, the word of God is like fire in my bones, I go for the word, I drink it, I live it, I eat it and I do all things with and in the word of God, Lord Jesus, thank You!
