Genesis 18:18-19 New King James Version
18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”
Joshua 24:15 New King James Version
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of [a]the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
God’s elect, we need to present our bodies and life as an instrument of righteousness unto our God. See the testimony God Himself gave about father Abraham, that He knows him that he would command his household after Him (God) and Joshua also saying him and his household shall serve the Lord.
God’s elect, their time is not different from ours because the attitude of humanity has not changed, we are just a decision away of presenting our bodies as an instruments of righteousness unto the Lord; this means we are going to do anything possible that the righteousness of God will flow through our lives.
