Romans 8:36-37 New International Version
36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Ephesians 2:10 New International Version
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
The believer or the Christian is born into Christ Jesus, so we function from the realm of Christ Jesus.
There should not be anything that should overtake the child of God: either we learn or win, we do not lose because we are more than conquerors and are born champions in Christ Jesus.
In our scripture study, King David had gone out with his men, upon their return the enemy had come to seize all the women, being either their wives or daughters. David enquired from the Lord if he should pursue, the Lord’s answer was a yes, he pursued and overtook all. He first felt a loser but at the command of the Lord, he became a champion or a conqueror; this is the same Spirit working in the believer even in this day.
God’s elect, we need to walk in this mentality and mindset, it will make us do well in life. You take a “no” or “failure” for an answer because you are devoid of this knowledge.
Declaration
I am a champion, I am a winner, I am more than a conqueror, I am strong, I am bold and confident, I am a soldier of Christ Jesus because I am born or God, I have the very life of God, hallelujah!
