John 14:6 New King James Version – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
I am the way, the word of our Lord Christ Jesus. He calls Himself the way. There are many ways in this life; the way to heaven or the Father, the way to pass an examination, the way to be rich, and the way to live healthy, the way to be spiritual, the way to be prosperous or be respectful, honourable, resourceful, the way to live purpose here on earth, the list can be endless.
Thus what our Lord Christ Jesus saying is that, we make Him the way to every way we need to use in our lives. Are our academics not going well? He is the way, is peace not in the family, He is the way. Is sickness and poverty worrying the family, God’s elect, Jesus is still the way.
We should be able to make our Jesus the centre of everything about our lives, for in Him, we live, move and have our being. When this is in place then it means we are living a life of faith which will be pleasing unto His Name.
If we have really made Christ Jesus our only way to everything in our lives; it is going to be evident.
In our scripture study, the Lord God wanted to be the King of His people, but they demanded a human king, He wanted to be the way of their leadership or rulership, but it proved futile.
Declaration
Hallelujah to Your Most High and Holy Name, Christ Jesus, I have made you the way to all the affairs of my life, amen!
