Philippians 3:10 New King James Version – that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Galatians 2:20 New King James Version – I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

God’s elect, this is one of the hurting sides of Christianity or being a believer, but we cannot compromise on it. When and if we really want and need to meet our Lord and Saviour someday and even being able to live out His purpose for our lives on earth.

The death of the physical body of Christ Jesus signifies how we also need to crucify our flesh or our body for the sake of the kingdom, example, if you are able to kill the flesh or the self, there is no way sin will rule in the members of your body, it will be very difficult for you to even get angry, you will live the life which emanates from the word of God.

Galatians 2:20 talks about us being crucified with Christ, God’s elect, our flesh needs to be crucified so we can be dead to the things of the world or the flesh, everything about the self or the world is what does not glorify God or is against the will, plan and word of God over our lives.

Declaration

Take the stage of my life Lord, and make me conformable to the death of Christ, so I would be able to please You, thank You Lord!
