Philippians 3:8 New International Version – What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.
God’s elect, let us do everything within our power to know Him at all cost, for there is a reward to that.
A general of the Lord Jesus, Apostle Paul, says he considered everything loss as a garbage but to know Christ Jesus. We have to come to the level of this passion that everything should be secondary in our lives just to see, feel, smell, hear and taste Him; our five senses should be able to know our Lord of glory, the One we proclaim.
We are never sufficient of ourselves, when we see Him to be our sufficiency or ability that is when we will begin knowing Him and also gaining Him at the same time.
We need to know this God we all, always call on, either in our hearts or with our tongue. You need to lose something in order to gain or know Christ Jesus, we should be able to lose our reasoning or logic, please I am not saying we should be foolish, please no but that we would put the word of God first even before our logic or mind.
