1 John 2:20 New International Version – But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
1 John 2:27 New International Version – As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
The anointing of God is simply the empowerment of God through the Holy Spirit in the Name of Christ Jesus to the believer.
God’s elect, please the anointing of the Lord is not for the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher or the Pastor, neither any priest anywhere but the anointing of the Lord is for those who has called on the Name of Lord to be saved or to be children of God.
The anointing of the Lord will always come on the person who has availed him/herself to be use by God, for His own agenda and glory.
You shall seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with your whole heart, Jeremiah 29:13. One of the things the Lord gives to those who seek after Him with the entirety of their heart is the anointing (the empowerment of the Holy Ghost).
We need to be empowered to live where (the world) the enemy (the devil) is ruling. The only thing the devil is afraid of is power in the Name of Jesus, which is as the result of the anointing God gives to His children.
