Galatians 4:1-2 New King James Version – 1Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.

As growth in the physical is mandatory to man as far as we keep on living, same way growth in the Lord is also mandatory and that is the only way you can bear fruits, and if you do not bear fruits, you will be taken away (John 15:2).

You were once a year old, five years, ten years, I am sure you are now a teenager; what do you know about the Christ we have been worshipping or calling upon, how many scriptures do you know now, how many hours can you stand in prayer now? How well have the fruits of the Holy Spirit grown in you? How has your character grown or developed to depict the nature of Christ Jesus?

God’s elect, let us take our opening scripture again, God has an inheritance for us, but when and if we do not grow ourselves to meet up with the status quo or the standards of God; that inheritance will never be handed to you.

Example, God has told you that you will be a leader soon or later, you will not read or learn in that area of life; if God makes you the leader, what are you going to teach the people going to follow you?

God’s elect, growth is the will of God for our lives, thus, let us grow!

Prayer

In the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to grow, amen!
