Hebrews 4:15-16 King James Version – 15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Mercy is simply the help of God finding us when we are wrong or in our weakness. I am never writing this to promote indiscipline or sinful life, a riotous living and a purposeless living but as human as we are, we are prone to mistakes that will make the enemy gain an advantage over us but we have a High Priest, whom we can touch with our weakness or infirmity, Christ Jesus.

We are admonished to always come to the throne of grace so we can obtain mercy; this means our heavenly Father is always ready to give us help at any day, anytime and anywhere. Why then do we run from Him because of a mistake or even a sin we committed; it does not matter how you are or seem but how regretful we are with a heart of repentance; we need to come to Him with our weakness so He becomes our strength or He strengthens us.

Mercy (help) is one of the attributes of our God; we need to be able to come to Him, no matter what it is because He is the only High Priest we can touch with our infirmity/sin.

Confession
