Galatians 5:24 New King James Version – And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Luke 9:23 New King James Version – Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross [a]daily, and follow Me.

Before our Lord Christ Jesus was crucified, He first carried His cross, which is symbolic of the suffering of Christ which should not escape the child of God.

In so doing, we crucify the flesh or deny the flesh of its pleasures; then the Spirit of the Lord in us will begin to have control over our lives which will glorify God.

This thing which is being read this simple will never come on a silver platter, it would take prayer and fasting, it will take us an extreme discipline, it will take not to express our emotions even though we are very right to express ourselves, it would take an extreme humility, meekness and even courage to be able to crucify the flesh, which is the will of God for that is the only way our God can express Himself through us.

The flesh is always against the things of the Spirit, they seem to be enemies, what empowers the flesh is the devil, same way what empowers the Christian, is the Spirit, so when we carry our cross by crucifying the flesh, which is will never come on a silver platter, but that is the only way we can see the glory of the Lord, through the Holy Spirit.

Confession

In the Name of Jesus, I am empowered to carry my cross and also crucify the flesh, hallelujah, amen!
