1 Peter 1:15-16 New King James Version – 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
Holiness is the realm of God where there is perfection of His glory, in thoughts, words and also in conduct. That is the realm God Himself replicates to His people on earth where there is no iota of doubt, darkness or sin, that realm is where God is, as He is there, He is also calling us to be there; in fact by our salvation or redemptive rights, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of the Father of Glory but this should be translated into our physical life on earth before we join Him in heaven someday.
The key to being holy can be found in our Scripture for meditation; we need to keep our gaze on Him, spirit, soul and body. We have to reach a point in life where we look out for Jesus in all that we do, being in the dreams or sleeps, in the school, in the kitchen, bedroom even on the fields, as we keep on doing this, we are preparing our hearts to have an encounter with the Lord and as that encounter comes, the life of holiness will just be automatic because it is inherent.
Prayer
Christ Jesus, I give You praise and honor, I ask today that you give me tangible encounters with Yourself, that will enable me to live a life of holiness by default, hallelujah, amen!
