Galatians 5:22-23 – New King James Version – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law.

Looking at the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37: that is the very definition of kindness in the bible by Christ Jesus; where you go the extra mile or sacrifice for your neighbour or fellow man.

God so loved the word that He gave, Jesus went about doing good. On countless occasions in the scripture, we are admonished to demonstrate a level of kindness or good towards men, our nation and even the earth as a whole.

We should not be weary in doing well, for some have done so entertaining angels unknowingly. We should not be kind or good with the intention of getting anything in return, because when do so, our reward is of man and not of God; but when we do well or be kind in the Name of the Lord, He is the very Person who is going to reward in His own wisdom and time.

1 John 2 talks about us loving our earthly brethren whom we see: not neglecting them singing to the One in heaven where we do not see.

Our generation will now do anything just for money; please money is good and I work for money, but that should not be the prime factor why we do things for people for anything we do for God, we do for man as well.

Prayer

In the Name of Jesus, I give thanks; I ask that You give me the grace to do good, even to my known enemies, amen!
