Galatians 5:22-23 New King James Version – 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
The fruits of the Spirit simply mean what would become of us, after being followers of Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit and His word. There should be a testament or a character that would or should show on the believer as a prove that he or she knows the Lord of glory.
Acts 4:13 New King James Version – Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
One of the things that should show in our lives is love, for we are liars if we say we love God that we cannot see but hate our brothers and sisters that we see and interact with every time.
The will of God is that we know Him, not just to know Him, but to also portray His very life through the word of God, because we are His extension, it is through us that the creatures, (not only humans) will know that of a truth, there is a God who lives in the heart of men through character which is as a result of the fruit of the Spirit.
We are going to take one after the other the traits enumerated in our opening scripture in later days.
Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I am Spirit filled, I live by the faith of the Son of God, and I portray the fruits of the Spirit, to the glorification of Jesus, hallelujah, amen!
