Revelation 5:12 New International Version
12 In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
The first point of honour is listening and in the kingdom of God, the prove of listening is how obedient you are to God or authority. Yes, the Lord gives comfort, direction, wealth, the list can be endless; I have been a student of the bible for time now, the predominant of what the Lord gives is/are instructions to be obeyed by His children, and that is honour to the Lord.
The Lord Christ Jesus is the one who received the honour, but never forget that upon His ascendency into heaven, He delegated the entirety and complete authority to the church, the believer or the saints.
Thus the church of God, which is Christ’s body also need to be honoured because He has endowed us with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, wealth, peace, the list can be endless, and we are also kings and priests unto our God. Thus, we need to be honoured at everywhere we see ourselves because people need to listen and obey us when and if we speak, even with our actions and inactions.
Age is just a number in the kingdom of God, the reason why we seem not to be seeing this in our lives is because we do not even honour the Lord ourselves in the first place. So how then do we receive honour? Never also forget our all in all comes or emanates from Him.
