Nehemiah 1:4 New International Version – When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
At times we might be anointed or empowered for a task but might be unaware, unless we step out to solve a problem.
A burden is could be feeling of unrest, extreme care or even an anxiety to make a positive change on the environment or people or in a specific area of life.
In the case of Nehemiah, the walls of Jerusalem have been broken down and the gates burned with fire, so the destruction of the walls and gate of Jerusalem had become his burden.
Nehemiah 2:12 …God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem…
He also mentioned that it was God who put this burden in or on his heart for the repairs. What burden do you have on your heart for your family, church, nation, school or town, do you have a burden help the needy children, to make your nation better or even clean, what of a burden to fight for equal rights among the rich and the poor?
The anointing will work, if you take a bold step to step out.
Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I always receive burden on my heart to do that one thing the Lord needs me to do per time, amen!
