You Can Be Anointed – Waiting On the Lord
Isaiah 40:31 English Standard Version – but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
The anointing is also the strength of God that comes on a person for a purpose; what our opening scripture is saying (please read again) after a person’s strength is renewed happens or comes as a result of the anointing (the strength or power of God on a person).
Waiting on the Lord here is not just being in a corner doing nothing in the name of waiting on the Lord, but we wait on the Lord with studying of the Holy Scriptures, fasting and prayers, in worship or a heart consecrated to Him in holiness.
God’s elect, I tell you; to be anointed this is the only way; because the previous things mentioned or the future things to be mentioned need to be birthed when we spend quality time with Him on His wait just to be endued with power or strength from on high.
